Worldwide mega star, Ed Sheeran has just announced his last album in his string of Mathematical themed albums “Subtract(-)” alongside his first single and even a mini UK tour.

The Ipswich mega star had been working on his new album for over ten years, Unfortunately, Ed went through several personal issues at the start of 2022 that resulted in him rewriting and scrapping his already written material in just 3 weeks.
“The themes of Subtract (now), it’s about learning to live without things” Ed says to Spotify. “I always saw subtract as a genre, you strip everything away and it’s acoustic guitar, but I think it’s so much more than that.”
The newest album ‘Subtract’ will be released on May 5th 2023 through Asylum Records.
Our second announcement is the first single ‘Eyes Closed’ to be released 24th March 2023.

‘Eyes Closed’ is about Ed loosing his best friend, the late (and great) Jamal Edwards, and Ed feeling like Everytime he goes out he expects to bump into Jamal, and that everything reminds Ed of him.
Lastly, Ed has announced a small string of UK and Europe arena shows (the only ones this year) which will see Sheeran play out ‘Eyes Closed’ first, amongst his other hits. With support from growing Irish singer songwriter Cian Ducrot, Ed will take on the UK’s most prestigious Arena – The O2, amongst others dotted around the country.
